If you're an options trader, you know how important it is to find options with consistent volume and volatility. Without these two criteria, the probability for poor fills and weak moves can rise dramatically.

Instead of spreading out your attention on too many tickers (many of which have tricky-to-play options), why not focus your attention on a handful of the more consistent underlying symbols, which have easier-to-play options?

Use our core options watchlist as a base watchlist when day trading options (you can add your favorites or remove the ones you don't like). As you begin to focus on a select few tickers, you will become more comfortable in understanding how they move and how to trade them.

This watchlist is based on tickers that typically have strong average ATRs, strong average options volume, and consistently tighter spreads. It focuses on *day trading* options. If you're primarily a swing trader, you can simply use this list to complement your favorite tickers.
